phatpenguin

phatpenguin began in 1998 while I was studying media at college. I needed a banner under which to do my creative projects and had just started a short-lived fanzine called NOYZ that covered the underground punk and metal scene in Liverpool. This was the name I came up with at 17 years old and never managed to think of one I liked more, so I've stuck with it resolutely since.
Since then I've been a filmmaker, photographer, VJ and motion graphics creator as well as dabbling in poetry and creative writing. All of these were to varying levels of quality and success, and these days I consider myself no more than a passionate amateur.
I'm now attempting to return to creative endeavours after a long break, I'll update this site as and when I acheive anything that's not too terrible to share with the rest of the world.
